Well, I messed this up! I did totally write this and post it last weekend, but instead of posting to the front page, I posted it hidden....and I just realized now that I never did check that little box that publishes things so my loyal readers can actually see them. Whoops. Here's my belated last day of Color Week!

Tomorrow: Greens. Looking at Mandi's green photos this morning made it hard to leave the house this morning! I can't wait for it to be summer again.

I'm joining Mandi for Color Week! It's a good antidote to the increasing darkness here in Boston. I'll be posting a set of photos every day for a week, each on a different color theme. (This will be interrupted at some point by a post about my Thanksgiving.) Today's theme is Reds and Pinks. Oddly, even though red is one of my favorite colors, I haven't taken many pictures focused on red. Maybe because I love red so much I'm usually wearing it, instead of looking at it?

I referred to February the other day as the 5am of the year, and I think that's fitting. The entire month of February and 5am are both times that are best spent curled up in bed.

Since that's not an option, I decided to brighten my day a little with some gorgeous orange tulips.

Also, I uploaded some cat pictures. Yes, I know the internet has plenty of cute cat pictures already, but the internet doesn't have enough cute pictures of MY favorite cats. They're over on Flickr to spare my non-cat-loving readers.
